I just watched Infinite Space, a documentary on BBC2, about architect John Lautner. I've always been interested in architecture and I think living in a Lautner space would be life enhancing. Who ever gets to live in these houses are very lucky. Top: Chemosphere House, Los Angeles. Bottom: The Schaffer Residence, used in Tom Fords 'A Single Man.'

I recently went to a a very hot and humid New York City, passing shops on Madison Avenue this display caught my eye. I'm currently reading the Victorian novel The Strange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and I thought these would be perfect for mixing dangerous potions in the laboratory, or, to drink some wicked cocktails out of! I especially like the sckull mixing sticks.
